Smoking Cessation
"The testimonial below is a case study of how much can be achieved in getting your life back, as not only was the client strongly addicted to the smoking habit, but also was suffering from smoking related breathing problems and blocked arteries which were seriously life threatening. Please pay attention to his age as it is never too late to change your life and habits with the help of my safe, powerful and highly effective hypnotherapy techniques which have been recognised by local G.P.'s" Patrick Farnsworth
"My name is Brian Miles, I am 68 years old with a history of ailments which have become more serious since I got older. These include blocked arteries and airways which restricted my movements to only 200 metres. All of these ailments are due to smoking from the age of 15, an average of 20 to 30 cigarettes a day..... In the 1980's and 1990's I tried to kick the smoking habit by using patches, gum, acupuncture and collective counselling. I did try several attempts at all of these but it seemed that my habit was more important than my life. My little white stick was now my friend, and comforter. I couldn't possibly give up my little friend who for 54 years had tried to kill me.
In April 2004 I had an ultra-scan on both my legs, medication would not help me and I faced 'burgerhers disease' which means you could lose by amputation your lower limbs below the knee. My Doctor told me she could help me no more and I left her surgery considering her options.
1. A wheel chair if you lose the use of your legs
2. Death possibly from gangrene due to amputation
3. Give up smoking once and for all
4. Find a hypnotherapist. (she is a firm believer in hypnotherapy and is very interested in Patrick's methods!)
I visited my local Barber in Twickenham whom I have known for many years said to me "you don't look very well I suppose you're still smoking". It was then that a young assistant Barber gave me a piece of paper with Patrick Farnsworth's telephone number on it - he had stopped smoking with Patrick 6 months earlier and was feeling all the benefits including better breathing, more energy, wealthier, etc.
By now I desperately wanted to do two things, keep my legs and stop smoking so I made an appointment after speaking to Patrick. I received the preparation pack explaining hypnotherapy methods, applications and do's and don'ts. The clinch factor was the free C.D. which you listen to as preparation and as you do your belief about yourself will change believe me. I realised that there is no fear in hypnosis just pure relaxation to a depth I have quite frankly never experienced before.
Patrick, even before my appointment was very professional in his approach as he telephoned to assure me that he would be able to offer me a better life with his therapeutic techniques. My appointment lasted nearly 2 hours and at times I was in total and deep relaxation. There was certainly no pain emotionally or otherwise. I will not discuss my actual treatment any further as to each and everyone who seeks Patrick's help, your treatment is private and planned for your unique needs.
In my case, and in my honest and true opinion it has worked beyond my wildest dreams. These are the genuine pluses.
1. I am a non-smoker, not one cigarette since my treatment and certainly no desire to smoke ever again.
2. My inhalers are now redundant and I am extending my exercise. My distance walking is now 3 times what it was. My consultant at Roehampton will also take heart that both my blood pressure and cholesterol level are down helping my stressed arteries to cope.
3. I have broken bad habits that had almost destroyed me and saved me more time, £40 a week and the respect of my family.
4. I can now look my medical helpers in the eye as at least I am trying to help myself as they have all helped me. Feeling proud by just being normal and still being here for my family.
This testimonial is a true and factual statement of my life past and present and is given freely without payment or favour in appreciation and thanks to Patrick Farnsworth Hypnotherapy."

"I am surprised that it worked but one year on I am still a non-smoker, I want to thank Patrick for the help and support he gave me especially the extra advice on dieting and weight control."
John Harmison, Caterer, June 2003
"It was a new experience but I found it very relaxing. I was surprised by the lack of cravings and the fact that I had no need to compensate by eating. Patrick also helped with my eczema in a further session. Thank you"
S. Clarke, housewife, April 2004
"I felt deeply relaxed to a level I never expected, although I didn't fall asleep like when listening to Patrick's Hypnosis CD. After the session, I felt certain that it had stopped me smoking and would recommend it as a positive experience! My wife has noticed that I am far more relaxed and there was none of the irritability when I tried to stop using will-power or patches."
Kevin P., Haulage Business Proprietor, March 2004
"I wanted to let you know that I felt wonderful after our second session, it was truly as if I had never smoked and I have no desire for a cigarette now."
Tina F. Housewife, Teddington
Patrick has helped me to stop smoking and has helped me with other emotional issues such as bereavement. It has been two months today and I already feel the benefits such as being able to walk further and get up stairs without feeling breathless. It is just as easy as stated, all you have to do is sit back in a comfortable chair and relax. I feel so much more relaxed and less stressed than I have in a long time. There is a since of calm that I feel now and this is due to the CD's that Patrick supplies. I would definitely recommend this method to stop smoking.

I am just writing to say that I am now a continuing non smoker since I visited you on the 06/04/05. Your hypnotherapy has been my release from the burden of those disgusting cigarettes and I can't thank you enough for this. Keep up the great work. Thank you. Best regards.

EMOTIONAL PROBLEMS
"My experience of Hypnotherapy was very relaxing and somewhat comforting. Having experienced a combination of emotional issues over the past few years my coping strategies started to diminished. However, after a couple of sessions of hypnotherapy I seem to feel much more positive and my coping mechanisms have improved. Even close friends have noticed a difference in me. I would definitely consider this therapy as effective, worthwhile and an enjoyable experience. Thank you Patrick."

I found the hypnotherapy extremely relaxing and it was quickly effective in reducing my anxiety attacks. My sleeping has been much better and I now feel more in control and less fearful of panic attacks recurring.

I thought I would take a few moments to write and let you know how my mother is doing following her recent visit to see you.
As you know, my mother had been unwell for several years following a stroke that left her with a painful throat condition that made her feel like she was constantly choking. As a side effect of this she was unable to eat or sleep properly for the past two years and by the time I brought her to see you her condition was beginning to spiral out of control. Naturally she had undergone numerous NHS tests which were then backed up by private tests for second opinions, my family and I had tried everything possible to identify anything that might ease her condition. Unfortunately no specific diagnosis could be made and therefore no course or form of treatment to relieve the problem could be started.
After much debate between our family and the medical specialities we had come to the conclusion that the condition was most likely psychosomatic and that my mother was suffering from a form of anxiety induced and directly related to her earlier stroke. She was then referred to a psychiatrist who spent 10 weeks trying to resolve the issue. Sadly this was all to no avail and her condition continued to deteriorate.
It was only after a successful visit to see you myself for an addiction to chocolate that I decided to bring my mother along to see if you could have any impact. I must admit I thought I was wasting both time, effort and money but I/we had few other options left but were keen to try anything.
My other spent about an hour and a half with you in which time somehow you changed her life (there is no other way I can describe the outcome).
I picked her up after the session and worryingly she did not seem to feel any different, I brought her home and went off to get ready for my nightshift. I called her the next day, not expecting there to be any difference let alone improvement but to my amazement she seemed totally transformed with absolutely no symptoms whatsoever.
She told me how she had no pain in her throat, had the best night sleep in years and had been eating full dinners without a problem.
Now although I was very pleased, I was also very cautious and worried that the improvement would be only temporary, however I was feeling very positive because even if the improvement was temporary, it was a step in the right direction and at worst only meant that we would have to repeat the treatment until such time as it took its full effect.
I am happy to say that three months down the line, all is well, my mother is back on track leading a normal healthy life, this has had a positive impact on not only her but everyone around her.
I would finally like to add that as an ambulance paramedic who has worked locally in the NHS for 17 years, I have never seen a form of treatment so effective. I see many patients who suffer long term from a variety of conditions particularly anxiety and psychosomatic ailments whom I'm sure would benefit from your skills.
Under current regulations, I am unable to make professional referrals for Complimentary Medicines or Treatment as all such referrals/treatments must be to NHS facilities and treatment centres. I will however be making personal recommendations to family and friends whenever necessary. In addition I will be writing to my mothers GP and to the British Medical Association to ask why it is that treatments of this nature are not considered a credible alternative and thus made available on the NHS.
You have saved us a great deal of time, effort, worry and money and I'm sure you can do this for the NHS, patients and their families alike.
Once again thank you for help.
Joe McMahon, State Registered Paramedic
"I would like to let you know how things have been since I left you on Friday. Well I felt on top of the world and it stayed like that for most of the evening calming down slightly towards the end of the weekend, but still very much copeable which as we both know was not the case prior to Fridays session. I would like to thank you so very much for your help and concern with what I can only describe as an absolutely awful experience in trying to do what was so important for myself and my family who would also like to thank you Patrick."
Wendy K. East Molesey, June 2003
"I found the hypnosis very relaxing, it was strange because I was totally conscious and felt in control but from time to time found my mind drifting off. The results are very positive and I have noticed a big difference in my reactions to stressful situations which are common in my job, even after the first session. I would definitely recommend it to everyone as I now feel so much better."
