This training is validated by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and is provided at two levels.

The Foundation Level Training leads to a Professional Certificate in Hypnotherapy, whilst the Practitioner Level Training leads to a Professional Diploma in Hypnotherapy.

Excerpt from an e-mail sent by a course graduate who has attended many other hypnotherapy trainings, to a client enquiring about where to train as a hypnotherapist "If you have never done hypnotherapy before, then it is unlikely that a certificate course will give you all that is necessary to become a powerful hypnotherapist.  I have gone to many courses in hypnotherapy and most of them have concentrated on specific techniques, such as regression, swish, direct drive etc... However, you only become good at hypnotherapy when you have mastered Milton Eriksson's' transformational language (commonly known as NLP) and are able to use it on your clients, unaided by scripts.  This can take years to develop.  However, we all have to start somewhere.  Many courses charge you lots of money and then tell you to use scripts.  A very good practising hypnotherapist, who teaches you hypnotherapy without scripts, runs the course that I attended.  He teaches you how to structure the induction phase, right through to regression and other patterns.  The course is recognised by GHR so you only need to tell them you have been on the course and you will receive a membership from them.  The course itself is very experiential, so there will be lots of practising, so that the patterns become embedded in your mind.
